"Making the Grid"

The goal of project 2 was to create a manuscript design for a book entitled Our Parks. The class was given the copy text and a series of images of which we had our choice in images to use, from there we practiced our own hierarchy and got to choose color and typeface and practiced using a manuscript grid.

The goal of project 1 was to create an advertisement for the Land Trust Alliance. The class was given the copy text and an image to use, from there we practiced our own hierarchy and got to choose color and typeface as well as general structure and grid.

"The Grid is Everywhere"

The goal of project 3 was to create an original magazine article with every aspect from top to bottom curated by ourselves, including the story which I wrote myself. My magazine article is entitled “Insta(llations)” and refers to the changing world of museums and galleries in the age of instagram.
